28.3.03

i can't wake up today. it's like i'm in a fog lately or something... anyway, yesterday was really fun. ^^ i went with kali to get my comic books, then we went to the oriental store. i got hello kitty chopsticks with a case, and an engrish pin. i'm not as into buttons as i used to be, but i couldn't pass it up. it now resides on the strap of my fuzzy leopard print purse. it says, "feeling produces high fashion." it has this flower thingy on it too, maybe i'll post a piccy later.

so that was fun. and chris finally got his dynasty warriors game. i went to bed early, but chris came in at 1, being generally pissy about his game. but he likes it anyway.

even though i went to bed early and woke up at 10, i feel exhausted. since it's friday, chris will want me to stay up. so should i sleep until i'm not tired? i'm not sure i won't be tired even if i sleep. gahhh... i wish i could wake up today.

i got more px stuff today! ^^ so i decided i'm going to go ahead and keep doing px, and just not ship anything. chris said that's okay. it's so fun getting mail! i'm going to have to work on stuff to send back, but i probably won't be able to do most of it til i get to gainesville...

gah, i just got back from errands, and i'm beat. it's too hot out. :P kali probably won't be here for a while anyway, so i have a little time to rest before i finish cleaning... walking around in 85 degree weather didn't help my headache. sometimes i wish i could drive...

anyway, i'm going to keep this short, because being on the computer isn't great for my headache either.

this one stupid spot on my head keeps hurting. right now it hurts pretty bad. i wish i could just get a brain scan, so i could quit worrying about this. it's too expensive to do. everyone keeps telling me it's just tension, but i've had a tension headache before, and it was not like this. for a while now, it's been this almost burning sensation on the top, right side of my head. then, it burns and hurts, and starts feeling more like a real headache. everyone says to wait til i have a blackout or seizure, then have something done about it. i am thinking that, if i did have something wrong, by the time i start having seizures it will probably be too late to do anything about the problem. i just wish i could talk to dr. mansour about it. thanks to my stupid insurance situation, i won't be able to see him til some time in june. maybe i'll have a blackout or something before then, and i will be able to see him. :P i'm getting so sick of this headache, i wish it would just go away...

my sinuses hurt really bad (usually only one side at a time, thankfully). but now i'm thinking, only a year ago, i'd never had real sinus pain before in my life. and now i have it every day. this is true for a lot of things in my life. there are so many things i never used to have to worry about, that trouble me almost contantly now. and it makes me think i really need to appreciate things the way they are now, before they get any worse. it also makes me really sorry i didn't appreciate my life more before it got so crappy.

i hope someone reads this, and realizes it's true. (i seldom think of anything useful, but this may be one of those times - so listen up!)

no matter how bad things are for you right now, they could almost certainly get worse at any time. but don't worry about that, because when that really bad thing happens to you, you'll eventually be used to it. if my dad can get used to missing half a leg, (and, believe me, he has) then i can get used to almost anything. and appreciate everything else in the meantime.

well, i have officially given up on the atkins diet. i just couldn't find anything to eat! also, i was really missing the serotonin that only carbs can provide. (no wonder i was in such a shitty mood.) anyway, this doesn't mean i'm a total quitter. i'm just going back on my old diet, and will experiment with calorie count, til i get it right. when it comes down to it, and (almost) all-meat diet isn't a great idea for someone who just doesn't like meat very much. at least, meat without decent sauce. and, like with everything else, sauce has sugar in some form. I'm happy to be going back on a diet where all my sugars are natural, like fructose. Carbs aren't so hard on my digestive disorder, either. so, for all intents and purposes, i am starting over. again. ^^; and at least now i can have a margarita once in a while. i simply can't live without a little alcohol now and then! (i mean, alcohol mixed with something. plain vodka? no midori? no way.) no more grease, no more artifical sweeteners, and sweet carbs once again...
